In the descriptions of some TVs can be found in the description of the support DTS 2.0 + Digital Out, many people think that this means support for your device in DTS format, but it is not.
It means only that your TV can accept audio in a digital format with DTS-encoded and transfer it to optical or coaxial (digital) output for audio playback on any external device. For example the sound comes from the player via HDMI to the TV and the TV with a digital receiver or home theater supports DTS.
Home theater or acoustics receive audio stream, decode and output sound to the speakers.
But the TV can not reproduce it.DTS 2.0 + Digital Out says only that the TV can act like a signal repeater device.
