QN65Q90R (2019) and QN65Q9FN (2018)
- Backlight – Samsung claims Direct Full Array 16X³ technology on the Q90R and Direct Full Array Elite on the 2018 QN65Q9F TVs. These technology designations are invented for marketing purposes. The TVs have backlighting all over the screen, the backlighting is divided into zones, this allows you to adjust the brightness of the backlighting by zone. It is not known how many zones in the Q9 series TVs, the manufacturer does not disclose this information.
