In which countries are Samsung TVs manufactured
Where does Samsung make its TVs? Components for the production of TVs are mainly produced in China, Vietnam and Korea. Screens are produced at three factories, two in South Korea and one in China.

Samsung TV Factory in Korea
Samsung TVs are manufactured in South Korea in Suwon City. But in 2018, the Suwon factory was refitted. The mass assembly of televisions has been discontinued. The plant is redesigned to produce test equipment for pilot testing. Since June 2018, Samsung TVs have not been produced in Korea.
Samsung TV Factory in China
In China, Samsung collects televisions in the city of Tianjin. 90% of the TVs produced go to the Chinese market, the rest of the TVs are exported mainly to Mongolia and neighboring countries. But lately, Samsung has been considering stopping TV production in China. The increase in staff salaries makes production unprofitable. It is more profitable to produce televisions in Thailand or Vietnam.
Samsung TV Factory in Mexico
In Mexico, the Samsung TV factory is located in Tijuana. This factory produces televisions and screens for the Americas. The plant’s capacity allows it to produce about 18 million devices per year. In 2017-2018, information appeared about the possible transfer of the plant due to a possible increase in taxes from the United States. But since the plant produces televisions for the entire American continent, the rumors about the closure of the plant were not confirmed. The United States imposed taxes only on devices shipped from South Korea. The plant continues its work.
Samsung TV Factory in Hungary
Samsung TV factory in Hungary is located in Jasfensaru. This factory produces televisions for Europe. The plant’s capacities make it possible to assemble about 8 million devices per year.
Samsung TV Factory in Slovakia
Samsung once had two factories in Slovakia, one in the city of Voderady, this factory produced components that were delivered to the factory in the city of Galant. The Voderad factory was closed and merged with the factory in the city of Galant. Televisions manufactured at this factory are shipped to Europe.
Samsung TV Factory in Romania
Now in Romania Samsung manufactures components, previously in small quantities, in Romania monitors with tuners and some models of TVs were assembled. But that was in 2012-2015, with the greatest demand for new televisions.

Samsung made televisions in India at a factory in Chennai. But in 2018, the production of TVs in India was completely discontinued. The reason for this situation was the decision of the Government of India to impose a tax on components supplied for the assembly of televisions.
Samsung TV Factory in Vietnam
Vietnam is one of Samsung’s largest centers. This situation has arisen due to cheap labor and the loyal policies of the Vietnamese government. Samsung has created about 60,000 jobs in Vietnam. Samsung personnel work in one research center and eight factories located in Thayinguen province. The produced TVs are delivered to Asia, China, Korea, Australia, Africa and many other countries.
Samsung TV Factory Malaysia
In Malaysia, Samsung manufactures televisions in the city of Seremban. But in 2019, a decision was made to stop the production of TVs in Malaysia. The main production of televisions will be concentrated in Vietnam.
