In 2025, Samsung offers several OLED models at once, which look very similar in specifications but have their own features and slight differences in audio, design, and regional availability. In this article, we’ll take a look at four models – the S90F, S92F, S93F and S94F – to help you understand how they differ and which model is best to choose.

Overall display characteristics and picture

All four TVs feature OLED displays with 4K UHD (3840 by 2160 pixels) resolution and support a native refresh rate of 100Hz with the ability to upscale to 144Hz when connected to a PC, which is especially relevant for gaming. Screen sizes are the same for all models and include 42“, 48”, 55“, 65”, 77“ and 83”. But the TVs have different display manufacturers, so the S90F TVs with screen sizes of 55“ and 65” are equipped with OLED displays made by Samsung, not in all countries, so the 55″ models, as well as TVs of other sizes are equipped with displays made by LG.

Each of the TVs is equipped with a state-of-the-art NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, which is responsible for image processing, video enhancement with 4K AI Upscaling Pro technology, and support for a wide range of HDR formats – OLED HDR+, HDR10+, and adaptive HDR for gaming modes. Of course, it’s worth realizing that these processors are pretty standard, and the high-profile name NQ4 AI Gen3 is commercial. Contrast and depth of the picture is achieved by Real Depth Enhancer technology, and smoothness of movements is provided by Motion Xcelerator 144Hz.

Smart Features and Gaming Capabilities

All models use the Tizen™ operating system, providing access to a wide range of apps, streaming services, and voice assistants. Voice control is supported via Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant, allowing you to control your TV using your voice. Each model supports Samsung TV Plus and integrates with the SmartThings Hub ecosystem, which includes IoT sensors and Matter Hub. Gaming capabilities are enhanced with features such as Auto Game Mode (ALLM), Game Motion Plus, Dynamic Black EQ for improved visibility in dark scenes, variable refresh rate (VRR), and FreeSync Premium Pro to eliminate picture tearing.

Regional Availability and Model Selection

Samsung OLED 2024 TVs are available in various markets across Europe and some additional regions, with model availability varying by country. The S90F is available in all countries as it is the base model. The S92F is targeted at Italy, the S93F at Germany and Austria, and the S94F is primarily available in Italy and surrounding areas. Since these TVs have just entered the market, the sales region may expand. All models support popular European languages and offer similar connectivity options: four HDMI ports with 4K 144 Hz support, two USB ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3. While some competing brands support newer versions of Wi-Fi, such as Wi-Fi 6, it’s important to note that these advancements are often more of a marketing strategy than a necessity for streaming content.

The TVs come with TM2360E remotes, which are used in Smart TVs from 2023, including 2024 and 2025 models.

When choosing between models, consider your sound priorities and availability in your region. If you want the best sound quality with 60 watts of power and full Object Tracking Sound (OTS) support, opt for the S92F, S93F, or S94F. For basic yet excellent picture quality with fewer sound capabilities, the S90F will suffice.
