LG TV series differences, short description
Korean company LG, in the top of TV manufacturers, despite fierce competition, LG continues to develop new technologies. LG TVs differ among themselves not only in the series, but also in the technical capabilities of the 55UK6500 – the TV of the 6 series, the 55SK8000 – the TV of the 8 series. LG TV 5 series

To increase the number of transmitted colors in TVs, screen flicker technology (8bit + FRC) is used, the manufacturer claims a color depth of 10bit, but as many users have noticed up to the true depth of 10bit, such TVs do not reach if you watch two images with a screen of 10bit and 10bit FRC the difference is noticeable. The frame rate is 60Hz. HDR10 and HLG dynamic range is supported. TVs series 65xx-67xx installed improved matrix screen.
LG TV 7 series
In the 7 series, the TVs are the same as in the 6 series, but the software has been added with settings and screens, albeit at 60Hz, but the quality is better. Added RAM, which has a positive effect on the speed of the TV. In Europe, a TV set with a Super screen (SK7900) was added to the 7th series, real support for the color depth of 10bit without flickering. Also, SK-branded TVs support HDR, HLG and optionally Dolby Vision HDR technology.
LG TV 8 series
In the 8 series, TVs with Super screens only (10bit color depth). Improved screens support frame rates of 120 per second. This makes it possible to use on TV a variety of programs to improve the image. And also use the TV as a quality monitor. The Alpha 7 processor is used, this processor was installed on OLED TVs in 2017, and in 2018 it is also installed on TVs starting from the 8th series.
LG TV 9 series
In the 9 series screens with local dimming (Full -Array Local Dimming) the screen has 48 dimming zones, black levels are improved, 120 frames per second, Alpha 7 processors.
LG OLED TV
Relatively new development company LG, screens on organic LEDs, they emit light, in the off state, the TV shows the perfect black color, the maximum frame rate of 120 per second. Screens with a color depth of 10bit. Model B8, installed Alpha 7 processor, but increased the RAM to 3Gb.
