LG OLED G1 vs LG OLED GX: comparison and the differences



As LG unveiled new TV models for 2021, many people are wondering about the differences between the GX and G1 TVs. To give you an understanding, the LG OLED G1 series (such as the OLED65G1PUA) are 2021 TVs. LG OLED GX series (such as. OLED77GXPUA) are 2020 TVs.

New OLED Evo displays in G1 TVs

New Magic Remote 2021

G1 TVs would have a new smart remote controls with some additional features:

  • NFC support, that will allow you to stream content from your smartphone to your TV (all you need is just to place your phone near the remote for a while);
  • New design, for example, LG has added additional buttons for video-streaming services quick access;

New Magic Remote would get number looking like AN-MR21GA and its modifications (looking like AN-MR21**).
