So, if you want to recover messages via Finder on your Mac, you should follow the steps which would be mentioned in the section below:

  • First of all, you should connect your iPhone to your Mac.
  • After that, you should see your iPhone displayed under the “Locations“, and you should tap on it.
  • Then, you should tap on “Manage Backups” and a list of backups on your computer would be displayed. If there’re no available backups, unfortunately, you won’t be able to restore your iPhone from your computer.
  • Next, you should check the list to make sure the most recent backup was made before you deleted those text messages.
  • After that, you should tap on OK.
  • To complete the process, you should click on the “Restore iPhone” option.
