Samsung 3D Glasses Models 2011–2015 and TV сompatibility

Samsung used active 3D technology in its 3D-capable TVs during the 2011–2015 period. Active 3D glasses use electronic shutters that alternately block the left and right eye in synchronization with the images displayed on the TV. This creates the 3D effect when the viewer watches compatible 3D content.

Samsung released several generations of active 3D glasses, including the SSG-3100GB, SSG-3570CR, SSG-3700CR, SSG-5100GB, SSG-P51002, and SSG-5150GB/ZA. Many of these glasses are compatible with more than one generation of Samsung 3D TVs.

SSG-3100GB

The SSG-3100GB is an active 3D glasses model designed for Samsung 3D TVs from the 2011 D series.

The glasses are compatible with the following TV series:

• D490, D550 and higher plasma TVs
• D6000 and higher LED TVs

The SSG-3100GB was one of Samsung’s standard active 3D glasses models for 2011 TVs.

SSG-3570CR

The SSG-3570CR is a premium-design active 3D glasses model. It was designed for Samsung 3D TVs from several generations.

The glasses are compatible with Samsung D, E and F series TVs released in 2011, 2012 and 2013, provided that the particular TV model supports active 3D.

This makes the SSG-3570CR a relatively versatile option for Samsung 3D TVs from these years.

SSG-3700CR

The SSG-3700CR is an active 3D glasses model designed primarily for Samsung’s 2011 D-series 3D TVs.

It can be used with:

• D490
• D550
• D6000

One of the main differences from the standard SSG-3100GB is the wireless charging feature.

SSG-5100GB

The SSG-5100GB is a standard-design active 3D glasses model. Samsung designed these glasses for extended use, with an operating time of up to approximately 150 hours on a battery.

The SSG-5100GB is compatible with Samsung 3D TVs from the:

• D series — 2011
• E series — 2012
• F series — 2013

The TV must support Samsung’s active 3D system.

SSG-P51002

The SSG-P51002 is a variation of the SSG-5100 series. It has the same basic specifications and is compatible with Samsung 3D TVs from the D, E and F series.

This corresponds to Samsung TV generations released in:

• 2011 — D series
• 2012 — E series
• 2013 — F series

As with other Samsung 3D glasses, compatibility applies to TV models that include active 3D support.

SSG-5150GB/ZA

The SSG-5150GB/ZA is a model of active 3D glasses designed for use with several generations of Samsung 3D TVs. Due to plans to discontinue the production of 3D TVs, these glasses were developed to replace virtually all previous models.

The glasses are compatible with Samsung 3D TV models from the following series:
