If you own an LG TV, you can easily download the ESPN+ app directly from the TV’s app store, log in, and begin streaming without the need for any additional devices. In November 2023, ESPN+ announced the completion of its app development for LG TVs. The launch was rolled out in two phases: first for models from 2020 and later, followed by those from 2018 onward. Unfortunately, there are no plans to extend the app to older LG TV models, as it is not deemed economically viable.

Can’t find ESPN app on LG Smart TV
If you’re unable to find the ESPN+ app on your LG TV, there could be several reasons for this:
- Your TV may be a pre-2018 model, which does not support the ESPN app.
- Ensure that you have selected the correct country during the setup process. The service is unavailable in certain regions, and if the wrong country is selected, ESPN+ will not appear in the app store.
- Make sure your TV software is up to date. While the Smart app store typically updates automatically when you power on your TV, some models may require a manual software update to refresh the Smart features.
