LG TV 2019 list
LG’s 2019 TVs have started going on sale.
Historically, LG is the first to produce new TVs for the United States, Canada and Mexico. The plant in Mexico is the first to receive the necessary components and begin assembling the televisions.
The LG TV models you see in the picture are scheduled for release in 2019. This is a list of TVs assembled on the same chassis (the main board of the TV). This category includes the entry-level 8-series UM8070 TVs, all 7-series TVs and the 6-series UM6900 TVs.
LG TV UM7300 tech spec
Mid-range (budget series) TVs with a maximum picture frequency of 60 frames per second, manufactured with IPS technology. Smart TV support; the ability to install applications Netflix, Amazon, etc. This model has a pretty good screen, but there are shortcomings inherent in all LED TVs made with IPS technology. They have no black color, instead of black it is gray. This is not critical when viewing a bright picture in the light. It is rather unpleasant to watch dark movie scenes in the dark.
LG TV model UM7300 (2019) vs UK7700 (2018)
- Color Depth – The UM7300 has an 8-bit matrix and there may be flicker in the backlighting of the FRC screen. But LG does not specify a color depth of 10 bits. This is normal because with FRC, the color depth is greater than 8 bits, but not 10 bits. The value of 10 bits (8 bits + FRC) is conditional.
- Backlight Type – In the UM7300 the backlight type is Direct (in the UK7700 the LEDs across the screen were Edge). Direct, of course, is better, but for some reason in the description of the UM7300 they forgot to mention the type of local dimming. But on the TVs of the 7-series this technology is used by default. Perhaps this is done on purpose for the big difference between the TVs.
- OS – New OS, Bluetooth version 5.0, added Alexa support.
- HDMI – The number of HDMI ports on the UM7300 has been reduced to just three.
