Europe, QLED TV 8 Series is represented by several models of 2019. Depending on the country for which the TV is assembled, the model number may vary, only the TV series and the letter indicating the year of development of the TV model remain unchanged. Consider the difference between Samsung TV series Q80R vs Q85R
- type of local dimming Q80R – Direct Full Array 6x, Q85R – Direct Full Array 8x. But this is very conditional, on TVs the same system of local dimming, just for sales, you need a larger number of TV models.

With the 2018 TVs, the differences are quite substantial. In 2019, the TVs are equipped with screens with Direct backlight, 2018 EDGE. Also in 2019 added support for Google and Alexa. Updated in 2019, the operating system to version 5.0
