If you have decided to buy a TV from a new line of QLED and want to buy a cheaper TV you will certainly pay attention to the model Q60A. This TV is positioned as a QLED TV of the sixth series. But in this article we will tell you about the cardinal differences between Q60A and other QLED 2021 series TVs. At the end of the article you can see full specifications and compare Q70A with Q60A.

The differences between Q60A and Q70A are explained

Q60A series TV is quite inferior to 7 series TVs in terms of technical characteristics. Q60A is a cheaper screen, processor and of course the software.

Q60A screen, processor

The display in Q60A is of a lower class, it supports a maximum frame rate of 60 per second. The screen is made with EDGE technology, the backlight of the screen is placed at the side of the screen. The large variety of offered sizes of the screen, most likely points to the use of screens manufactured by other companies.
The processor is also simplified, on the one hand it is justified, there is no sense with the 60 Hz screens to use a processor that supports 120 Hz displays. For comparison the Q70A is equipped with a screen with a frequency of 120 Hz, the processor in the Q70A is also more powerful.

Other differences Q60A

Among other differences which may affect the evaluation of the TV, we can note the following. The TV is not equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports, therefore some rather useful features are missing, especially if you use the TV as a monitor. The TV does not support floating frame rate, there is no FreeSync function.

Is it worth buying a Q60A or Q70A

In terms of picture quality and gaming features, of course it is better to buy Q70A. But if you are not really picky about image quality and you don’t use your TV as a monitor you can buy the Q60A. And we recommend you to go to the store and look at the picture quality of these TVs side by side. This will give you a real idea of the picture quality of the Q70A and Q60A TVs.
