LG TV series LH 2016
LG has started posting new 2016 TV models on its official websites. Of the new TVs announced support for HDR video, an update of the operating system WebOS 3.0, as well as updating the design of TVs. Also in 2016, LG released TVs with quantum screens, such TVs received the prefix super, such displays are needed to support 10Bit image depth and the claimed support for HDR video.
Production of TVs with 3D support is practically stopped. The ability to view three-dimensional images will only be possible in OLED TVs and 9 and 8 series TVs.
TVs are divided into lines and series. The table shows a comparison of TVs available at the beginning of 2016. Model numbers may differ depending on the country, but not significantly, the basic principle of available features and settings will be almost the same.
New TV models are also available in the US and Canada, the TVs for North American models have no letters at the end, the letters have been replaced by 0.

9 series
UH950v (UH9500)
The TVs of this series support HDR video, have QUANTUM DISPLAY displays, support 3D, Smart TV. Premium Series TVs with the highest possible functionality.
8 series
UH850v (UH8500)
The 8 series is similar to the 9 series. The screen technology is True Black, while the 9 series has True Black +, but this is not essential.
7 series
UH770v, UH750v, UH700v (UH7700)
In this series, the 770 and higher models use QUANTUM IPS display, while the others use IPS. Although HDR video support is claimed, you should know that the claimed HDR support of TVs with IPS displays is not fully possible. But since IPS displays have an 8-bit color depth, the viewer will not be able to fully appreciate HDR video.
6 series
UH610, UH620, UH630, UH650, UH660 (UH6100, UH6150, UH6350, UH6500)
In this series, as usual, there are many different models with different designs (two legs, one stand, and so on), the magic remote control is no longer included and goes into the category of additional accessories. The technical parameters are similar to the 7 series TVs. The differences lie in the number of ports.
5 series
The 5 series TVs are Smart TV, the other features are minimal.
4 series
