Samsung 3D Glasses Models 2011–2015 and TV Compatibility

Samsung used active 3D technology in its 3D-capable TVs during the 2011–2015 period. Active 3D glasses use electronic shutters that alternately block the left and right eye in synchronization with the images displayed on the TV. This creates the 3D effect when the viewer watches compatible 3D content.

Samsung released several generations of active 3D glasses, including the SSG-3100GB, SSG-3570CR, SSG-3700CR, SSG-5100GB, SSG-P51002, and SSG-5150GB/ZA. Many of these glasses are compatible with more than one generation of Samsung 3D TVs.

SSG-3100GB

The first 3D glasses for TV sets with 3D (active) suited to the TV series:

Active glasses are used with the TV series D490, D550, D6000, different from the previous series by the presence of wireless charging.
