From 2017 to 2026, VIZIO’s TV lineup changed significantly. The company moved from the D, E, M, and P Series to a simpler naming system based on resolution and display technology. VIZIO outsources TV production to Asian OEM manufacturers rather than manufacturing the TVs itself.
Between 2017 and 2022, the lineup included budget-friendly D and V Series models, M Series Quantum TVs, P Series models, and P Quantum X TVs. In 2020, VIZIO also entered the OLED market, but discontinued this product line in subsequent years. The lineup became more limited in 2023.
Walmart announced its acquisition of VIZIO in February 2024 and completed the deal in December 2024. Starting in 2024, VIZIO introduced a new model numbering system.
