An HDR error occurs when the camera attempts to combine multiple shots with different exposures into a single final image but is unable to do so correctly. As a result, the image looks unnatural: glowing halos may appear around objects, colors become too saturated or, conversely, washed out, and transitions between light and shadow look harsh and uneven. This is especially noticeable in high-contrast scenes, such as when a bright sky and dark areas are present at the same time.
Such problems often arise if there is movement in the frame or if the camera itself shifts slightly during shooting. The software cannot precisely align the frames in time, and artifacts appear.
Panoramic Photography (panoramic shot)
A panoramic photo is created by taking a series of shots that are then automatically stitched together into a single wide image. If there are moving objects in the frame, errors become noticeable in the final photo: moving objects may appear multiple times or take on unnatural shapes.
Below are photos showing an error that occurred while creating an HDR image.
